Last FNSI's for 2015

I would like to give Wendy a HUGE thank you for running FNSI all year and also having a gift for someone each month….. I am looking forward to joining in again next year…

This month I sewed along on both Friday and Saturday nights as I was on a mission to make a quilt for Hubby for THIS Christmas

It’s been a mammoth task but here is the Quilt. Taa Dah!!

Not a bad effort for two days…

sandwiched and pinned ready to quilt…I have four days……

Must away and start quilting while hubby is out…. That's been the hardest part, hiding it from him..LOL

  9. Wonderful flag quilt - he is sure to love it! It's hard getting secret sewing done when the recipient is in the house.

Did you know that here in New Zealand we are having a referendum on whether to change our flag or not? There are strong views both ways, as you can imagine.

  13. O your quilt is eye-catching! I remember trying to hide things from DH. Seemed like every time I would pull it out he would pop through the sewing room door! Men seem to be sneaky that way. lol
