Last OPAM for 2016

I've joined Peg and Kris since 2010 for OPAM and I enjoy posting what I have made each month thanks to them for keeping me on track...

Now everyone has received their gifts all the secret sewing can be revealed for December Finishes....

I enjoyed stitching three of Michelle's lovely Aussie Christmas Sticheries for my overseas friends and SSCS partner ....


















































For hubby I made covers for the milk crates he likes to sit on....



                       
    one for under the patio,  




















and one for his shed....

and 6 Reindeer have all gone to their new homes, also designed by Toni..

SSCS Gifts and Nice Mail...

For the past 5 years I have joined Chooky for the SSCS .
I received my lovely gifts from Lyn who lives across the ditch (NZ) ..


A beautiful hand stitched Ornament...

















Three fabulous zipper pouches and a sweet quilt brooch wrapped in gorgeous Kiwi fabric.. nice chrissy card too!!










I love them and one already has my threads, pattern and scissors for the portable project...

this year my partner was Katie from the USA and these are the gifts I sent to her.....



Thank you Chooky for once again organising the SSCS this year..



Last week I also received some nice Christmas Post..

This Cute Reindeer arrived from the US sent by my blogging friend Di

SSCS and other nice Parcels....

This year I joined Chooky for the fun SSCS .  Sew Santa has been busy delivering parcels all over the world.....
Mine parcel was sent from across the ditch, New Zealand by the lovely Lyn ...
We were allowed to open the small gift straight away...



















Lyn stitched a beautiful ornament for me....



I was a good girl and have put the other gift under my tree....can't wait to see what Lyn has wrapped in there...only 5 more sleeps and I can open it...

My blogging friend Sunny sent my Christmas gift some time ago and she said I could open it now...










Look at the lovely cross stitched cushion she made me  as well as popping in some nice pre-printed stitcheries for me to do all wrapped in a Christmas FQ.




I love to make blocks for Aussie Heros .The Mystery Block Group is organised by the fabulous Lynn and I was delighted to have received this special gift from her.... A great pen engraved with the group on...

Then yesterday there was a squishy package which contained Walnut Shells.







I have never been able to source them here sew the thoughtful Raewyn carried them across the ditch on her last busy visit and then had then posted to me...











OH !!!!! Nearly forgot......Another gift was sent from the USA from Linda.....

FNSI + one

Last night I joined Wendy and 23 ladies for our last  FNSI for this year...

I worked on three Santa Sacks for the GGC designed by Toni from Red Boot Company... Took some time going through my stash to choose fabrics but I was happy to get all the applique ironed on..




and tonight I machine buttonholed around nearly all the names and reindeer s...





















Do hope to finish the sacks tomorrow but now its time to get ready for bed...

Toni's Reindeer, Illene's gifts and FNSI ......

I've been busy making these cute Reindeer Ornies designed by the fabulous Toni from the Red Boot Company. She designs the most gorgeous bright funky quilts and there are some lovely freebies on her blog..


















Like Fiona I couldn't stop at just these three, had to make more...





Yesterday I posted my beautiful gifts I received from Jan in our "No Fuss Bah Humbug Swap" and these are the gifts I sent to Illene

A Lovely Day...

On Tuesday a group of ladies go for a picnic lunch here



at the local Marina. Even though it was very windy it's always nice sitting under the shelters enjoying our lunch and chatting.... A very relaxing few hours with friends.

Then when I went to collect my mail there was a nice fat envelope and a red and white card in my post box.. Oh! a parcel !!! I couldn't wait to get home to open both...


I joined the No Fuss Swappers  for the "Bah Humbug" swap and when I opened the parcel ( which arrived on our opening day) it revealed a beautifully wrapped pudding from Jan... love the fabric..



























and inside were these gifts, delicious choccies, lovely Christmas Mug Rug and a gorgeous Christmas Mug...Very Spoilt... Thank you Jan for my fabulous gifts and the No Fuss Swap ladies .. always enjoy this swap...


and inside the fat envelope was this fantastic Christmas Card and Ornament from Shez..


She always stitches such gorgeous ornies sew I am delighted now to have one of my own.. Thank you Shez...

Postcards, Beach and SS Blocks.

I joined in for Sheila's Christmas Postcard Swap and  Lin was my partner.

We've had very high tides lately sew this is what the beach looks like...













I love the way it always changes...






While walking along I collect small pieces of drift wood and had fun this week making this Wonky Christmas Tree....



Been busy trying to catch up with my SS blocks..



Made these 12 over the past few days... Some are being made MY WAY... a little bit of cheating to make them easier...LOL..

Christmas is on it's way, Last FnwFs...

While driving home from the big smoke yesterday for hundreds of Kms I enjoyed the  Aussie Christmas Trees in bloom... They look beautiful against the brown dry landscape...














   

I was home time to join Cheryll and ladies for our last FnwFs for 2016.....








Managed to put the binding on the GGC's Advent Calendars . They will receive them a few days late but I am sure they will enjoy peeping in more than one pocket on the 5th day....




















I will visit the other ladies HERE over the next few days... A huge thank you Cheryll for organising us all year even when you were busy with your grandies and away on holidays...

OPAM for November..

I was delighted to spend lots of my spare time getting my SILs BD quilt make "Crashing Waves" made this month...




and in my previous post  you can see the " Christmas " postcard I sent to Lin in France..
also my "Jingle Bells" table runner i finished..
