FnwFs for May

Even though Cheryll is on the other side of the world she still kindly set up the link for us to sew along for our usual FnwFs.. thanks heaps Cheryll and I hope you and your Hubby are having a great time.....

I couldn't seam to settle on one thing on Friday sew I played around with a few different ones...

First I downloaded the 4th pattern for "Gnomes for Holidays"  by Fat Cat Designs ...Then found the fabrics, visoflexed the pieces onto the fabrics and cut them out ready to iron on and sew.

It's a free pattern and such a fun funky one to do....

then I sewed some "Super Hero" blocks to make a quilt to send to Jan Mac...

As it was still early I decided to make the blocks I'd cut out for "My Small World"

When I went to sew the last 2 1/2" square in a square block one of the small corner blocks was missing. After searching everywhere and I'd nearly given up I found it in my scrap bag. Can you see it ?

It's in the top left hand corner....

Pleased I found the missing piece because now all blocks on page 2 are done !!!!

Well folks off to check out what others have worked on ....

Happy Stitching

  19. I've had to search the trash bin many times for a lost piece of fabric. I love FatCat patterns but I think the Gnome one is one of the best.
